Under 15 girls

FT: Celbridge (3 – 13) Ballymore – Eustace (0 – 06)

Finally, the U15 girls got their first match of the season against a Celbridge team who had a substantial subs line, Ballymore togged out with 13.  A very windy day made conditions difficult but Ballymore were to score the first point.  The first quarter ended with Celbridge leading by two points after scoring a goal.

The second quarter Ballymore scored three points to Celbridge’s one, leaving the two teams’ level at half time.

Celbridge started to pull away in the third quarter, by scoring an additional (1 – 07) to Ballymore’s two points.  Celbridge went into the final quarter with an eight – point lead.

Celbridge showed their strength in numbers by scoring another (1 – 05) and keeping Ballymore off the score board.  Final whistle: Celbridge (3 – 13) Ballymore-Eustace (0 – 06)
