Ballymore felt they still had a chance and came out for the last quarter giving it everything. They managed to convert a number of really good chances and eventually share the spoils with Moorefield at the final whistle.

U9’s Away to Rheban

Rheban welcomed the Ballymore u9’s for the final game of phase 1 of the Southboard league. The first quarter saw Ballymore’s midfield take control of proceedings despite some good defensive work from Rheban. The Rheban team came out strong in the second quarter and had Ballymore on the back foot for long periods.

The second half was an even affair as both sides traded scores. With both teams starting to tire after a frenetic first half there were plenty of opportunities in the second half which made for a very entertaining end to the game.
