Ballymore Eustace V Moorefield

Venue: Ballymore

05/09/019

The Moorefield U7’s travelled to Ballymore for this group 5 Southboard league game. The players on the pitch were showing off all the skills they had learned in training. Some great passing helped to create chances for both teams and the finishing was very impressive. Both teams also showed great defending skills too, never giving up when their team needed them. All the players on the pitch were a credit to their clubs and most importantly they all had a great time playing the game.

U7’s V Roberstown

Thursday 11th July

On a bright Thursday evening by the banks of the Grand Canal, Ballymore Eustace played Robertstown in their third game in the U7 South Board League.

Both teams demonstrated a wide range of skills including an ability to play in a number of positions around the field.  Both teams traded scores throughout the four quarters of the game and in the end the sides were evenly matched.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the game and we would like to thank Robertstown for their hospitality and generosity and not to forget the parents for their enthusiasm and support.

U7’s V Ballyteague

13th June 2019

Ballymore travelled to Ballyteague on Thursday evening for the opening game of the Southboard U7’s league. The game got off to a frantic start with Ballyteague going on the attack first. The Ballyteague shots were raining in but the Ballymore goalkeeper was holding firm. Ballymore managed to break the siege and started to turn the screw up the other end.

The second half saw Ballyteague take control of much of the game but the Ballymore players were resilient and chased down every ball. This was a very entertaining game with every player on the pitch giving it their all.
