Result:            Carbury (2 – 03) v Ballymore Eustace (1 – 05)

On a very humid day, the U13 girls played their first game of the autumn league away in Carbury on August 24^th.  It was ten minutes in before the first score was put over for Carbury.  Ballymore responded shorty after with two points in quick succession.  Another one following about five minutes later before Carbury came back strong and buried two goals in the back of the net before half time.

The second half brought the Ballymore girls out fighting, scoring a goal within the first couple of minutes.  The scoring continued bringing the two sides level with about fifteen minutes left in play.  In the dying minutes of the second half Carbury scored their final point giving them the win over Ballymore.  The girls showed great team spirit throughout, which provided the spectators with a very entertaining match.
