The Athgarvan team travelled the wet road to Ballymore for this Southboard U9’s Group 3 fixture. The weather wasn’t good but the football certainly was. The home team started brightly but the visitors were clinical in front of the goal and were leading at the start of the second half. The tough conditions meant the players had to work really hard but they kept battling on. The second half saw a strong start from the visitors again but the Ballymore players managed to find extra energy from somewhere and were dominant in the final quarter of the game.
