Ballymore-Eustace v Sallins – Junior B Ladies Division 5

FT: BME (1 – 08) Sallins (4 – 13)

First round of the Championship, the Senior Ladies met Sallins on a very warm evening. Sallins were first off the mark with a point with BME returning the same. However, Sallins were to keep BME off the scoreboard for the rest of the quarter and scoring another (3 – 06) themselves.  

The water break gave the BME ladies time to settle the nerves scoring 3 points before Sallins scored another point.  Another two points for the girls before one final point from Sallins at half time score -BME (0 – 06), Sallins (3 – 09).

Third quarter BME held Sallins ladies from scoring and put (1 – 02) on the scoreboard going into the last quarter.

Sallins returned the favour by keeping their score sheet clean and scoring an additional 1 – 04, leaving the Final score BME 1 – 08, Sallins 4 – 13.  Hard luck to the ladies – next match to be held in Castlemitchell on 16^th August, time tbc.
