Final score: Ballymore-Eustace (3 – 06) Carbury (2 – 06)
The Semi final for the U15 girls was held in Ballymore-Eustace against Carbury. Carbury were first to score, a point. Ballymore responded with a goal before another point from Carbury. BME were to score four points before the first water break.
Carbury were first to score before a lovely goal from BME. Another point from Carbury before BME responds again for the third time with a goal. BME scored one more point before Carbury rounded off the first half with a goal. Half time score BME (3 – 05) Carbury (1 – 04).
Third quarter Carbury scored the one and only point.
Going into the last quarter the BME girls have a two-goal lead. BME scored a point their last score of the match. Carbury hadn’t finished though. In the final minutes of the game Carbury scored a goal leaving four points in it. Another point for Carbury before the Referee announces fifty seconds left. Carbury put enormous pressure on the back line to score that vital goal which would bring the team’s level. However, BME held them off and earned their place in the League final. Brilliant win!
