Ballymore travelled to Castlemitchell in great numbers for their first U10 game of the season. The hosts went on the attack first but were beaten back by a resolute Ballymore defence. There then followed a sustained period of Ballymore possession with a couple of great scores. The second half was a much more even affair with some really robust tackling keeping the scoring opportunities to a minimum.
This was a thoroughly entertaining game which shows great promise coming through from the younger ranks of both clubs. A big thank you to the young referee making his debut and who managed to control the game very well.
