Semi-final for the U15 girls was held in Sallins on September 28th. Ballymore were first to score with (1 – 02) before Sallins responded with (1 – 01). Defence was strong on both sides with no score for about ten minutes. It was level playing after that with both teams keeping the pressure up leaving half time score, Sallins (3 – 02) Ballymore (3 – 03).
Second half, Ballymore were first to score again with a goal. About 10 minutes in Sallins started to dictate the pace of the game and kept their score line ticking over giving them a six point lead. A late goal from Ballymore narrowed Sallins lead but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to get the win. It was a great game to watch from two very competitive sides. Thanks to all the supporters on the day and throughout the year.
