Second trip to Hawkfield in one day and after this mornings U16 match, the Junior A Semi Final match between BME and Rathcoffey didn’t disappoint. Weather conditions were dreadful but it didn’t hamper the determination of the lads. Our BME lads were on fire this evening and secured themselves a place in the final. A great team effort was shown. The half time score BME 1-14 Rathcoffey 1-01. Scorers were Patrick Murphy 1-0; Niall Murphy 0-8; Caolan Halpin 0-5; Stephen Dwyer 0-3; Stephen Davis 0-2; Tadhg Barrett 0-2; Aaron Deegan 0-1; Simon Murphy 0-4 Mark Slevin 1-0 and Shane Barrett 0-1.
