Ballymore travelled to St. Laurence’s to face Castlemitchell in the fifth round of the Championship. Ballymore started the game well, scoring two early goals from Niall Murphy before Castlemitchell responded. Castlemitchell started to put the pressure on but our back line were too strong and held out their attacks. At half time BME were ahead by 12 pts. The second half was all Ballymore. A good performance from all our players. Great to see Josh Burke Hayes and Aaron Deegan back on the field after their injuries. Final score BME 4-19, Castlemitchell 1-03
