The U14 girls had a marvelous win against Kilcock on 6 May Bank Holiday Monday. Ballymore’s 13 girls were up against Kilcock’s squad of 24. In the first half there were many attempts at scoring but at half time it was 0 – 03 (Kilcock), 0 – 02 (Ballymore).  Ballymore scored a goal five minutes into the second half.  The scoring continued with Ballymore managing to stay ahead until about five minutes from the end when Kilcock scored a goal, Kilcock were one point ahead. In the last minute Mayah Doyle covered over half the length of the pitch to score a goal and for Ballymore to win the match by two points. Brilliant!!
