Ballymore made the trip to Athgarvan for their second last game in the Southboard U11 league. Ballymore opened the scoring with a fine effort from the corner, clipping the crossbar as it went over. Ballymore continued to play excellent passing football which resulted in a couple of great scores. Athgarvan managed to reorganise and went on the attack themselves. They were soon level after doing well in winning many of the kick outs.

The second half was a more robust affair. The defenders on both sides were getting their tackles in early to close down the passing game of their opponents. Nonetheless the scoreboard kept ticking over for both teams. A very enjoyable game to watch with both sides evenly matched.
