Result: Ballymore Eustace (1 – 05) v Sallins (6 – 07)
First round of the U15’s league was held in Ballymore against Sallins on August 20th. An extremely wet night meant conditions for play were very poor. Ballymore were first on the board with a point before Sallins retaliated with a slew of goals and points. Ballymore came back with another two points before Sallins rounded off the first half with another goal and two points.
Second half Ballymore came out strong and held the Sallins girls from scoring for about the first 10-15 minutes but unfortunately it was not to be the girls night. Sallins proved to be a tougher more physical team, however the Ballymore girls fought till the end leaving the final score Ballymore-Eustace (1 – 05), Sallins (6 – 07)
