First round of the KWETB U16 Boys Championship got underway on Wednesday 25th July. Ballymore had their first match at home against Fr. Prendegast Gaels. Fr. P. Gaels, a combined team from Monasterevan and Nurney, were first to get the scoring going with two goals in the first 10 mins. At halftime the score was Fr. P. Gaels 2-07 BME 0-06. The second half saw BME back in the game and fought back to make the final score Fr. P. Gaels 2-15 BME 2-12. Well done BME. Their next outing will be Friday 2nd August against Carbury.
