U10’s V Hollywood

Ballymore made the short trip to neighbours Hollywood for the opening game of phase 2 of the Southboard U10’s league. Having moved to a higher league group after performing so well in phase 1 of the league the visitors were expecting a big challenge and that’s just what they got.

The hosts took control in the opening of the first half with the Hollywood players showing great composure on the ball and awareness of space. While Ballymore had a slow start they managed to get into the pace of the game and were starting to put pressure on the opposition at the end of the half. Ballymore started brightly in the second half and managed to break forward on a number of occasions. In response Hollywood put the foot down and were adding to their tally during the middle of the second half. Ballymore still had something left in the tank though and finished the game with some really well worked scores.
