The Kildare U12 ladies team took on the Wicklow U12 ladies team in Dr. Cullen Park in Carlow on Sunday. The Kildare team showed great skill and team work against a really strong Wicklow team. The Kildare ladies defence was outstanding during the game and their quick passing going forward was key to unlocking the Wicklow defence. Congratulations to all the players and especially to Ballymore’s Lilly Clohessy who provided the assist for Kildare’s last score in the game which they won 3 points to 1.
Well done also to Tracey Clohessy and Fiona Crowley who mentored the Kildare team on the day.
