U6 Blitz

Ballymore Eustace GAA U6 team travelled to Ballykelly to take place in a county Blitz. There were 30 teams in attendance on the day and Ballymore Eustace played against Kildangan and Ballyteague (Twice). Ballymore had 10 players for the blitz they performed brilliantly on the day.

Their first game was against Kildangan and Ballymore had a great start scoring so early points. Initially Kildangan found it hard to score due to great Ballymore defending but they found their scoring boots at the end of the first half. The second half was evenly matched and both teams had good scored along with some great defending.

Ballymore then faced the first of 2 teams from Ballyteague. Both teams took control of the games at various stages and produced some nice scores. Both goal keepers made fine saved for their teams, showing great bravery

There was a lot of attacking in Ballymore’s final game. Both teams were starting to get tired so scores were hard to come by. It will still a very enjoyable game to watch and the players can be proud of their performance

The players to represent Ballymore on the day were:
Ryan Bolan, Max Rigney, Amelia Rigney, Ella Murphy, Caoimhe Conroy, Amia Marshall, Cian Coleborn, Eoghan McCarville, Aodhan Lynch and Grace Poikane
