After their first two matches had been postponed due to the heavy rain, the Ballymore U12’s finally kicked their Coiste na nÓg league campaign off with a home game against Kill.

A bright start saw Ballymore get the first score of the game but the visitors were soon off the mark themselves. As the first half progressed it was clear Kill were a very capable unit and went in at half time with a healthy lead.

Ballymore knuckled down for the second half though and were much more competitive than they had been in the opening period. Kill were still playing excellent football but Ballymore were making them work for everything they got.
