Moorefield V Ballymore – Eustace – U16 girls

FT: Moorefield (2 – 09) Ballymore-Eustace (5 – 08)

The Ballymore U16 girls were away to Moorefield for their fourth round. The first half saw both teams keep the score line ticking over but two goals from our BME forwards guaranteed our lead going into the second half. Leaving half time score; Moorefield (0 – 05) BME (2 – 07).

A talk with management rallied the Moorefield girls and a penalty was conceded by BME earning Moorefield a goal.  This sparked a return volley from the BME girls scoring an additional (2 – 01) before another point from Moorefield.  The last score from BME was a goal giving them a (4 – 02) lead.  A late surge from Moorefield put another (1 – 03) on the board however the BME girls had stretched their lead to get the win.  Full time score – Moorefield (2 – 09), Ballymore – Eustace (5 – 08).   

Final round will be held in BME at 11.00 on Saturday 10^th September v Athy.
