Ballymore – Eustace v Carbury – U16 girls Division 5

FT Score: BME (2 – 03), Carbury (4 – 04)

Round 3 the girls met Carbury at home on a very hot day.  A tough first 15 minutes kept scores low with BME scoring a point and Carbury were kept off the score board.

Carbury were back out for the second quarter to score (1 – 01) before BME popped two in the back of the net.  A penalty for Carbury before half time brought the game level (2 – 01).

Second half BME were first to score before Carbury were back down the field with an additional (1 – 02).  A second penalty conceded by BME extended Carbury’s lead by another goal.  BME rounded off the third quarter with their last point.

There was one final score in the last quarter, a point from Carbury, leaving the final whistle – BME (2 – 03), Carbury (4 – 04)

It was great to see all the support on the day.  Next match is away to Moorefield on 1 September at 7.
