Ballymore-Eustace v Kilcock – U16 Girls Division 5

FT: BME ( 1 – 05 ) Kilcock ( 1 – 05 )

Ballymore’s U16 girls met Kilcock for the second round of the league. The first 15 minutes both teams held strong and they only conceded a point apiece.

The girls came out for the second quarter scoring an additional two points and kept Kilcock off the scoreboard.  Half time score BME (0 – 03), Kilcock (0 – 01).

Kilcock came out in the second half and scored (1 – 03) consecutively before the whistle was blown for the last water break.  Kilcock had stretched their lead by 4 points going into the last 15.

The last quarter both sides were striving for the win.  BME scored the first point before Kilcock retaliated with another one.  Great passing from the girls earned them a goal leaving one point in it.  One last point from BME and a great save from our goalie Grace left the score at the final whistle (1 – 05) each.  A brilliant game to watch, well done to both teams.  Ana-mhaith ar fad!
