Cappagh v Ballymore-Eustace – Division 5 League Minor girls

FT: Cappagh (2 – 07) Ballymore-Eustace (3 -06)
BME were away to Cappagh on 9th November for the third round of minors. BME were first on the board with a goal before both teams got a point apiece. Cappagh scored an additional (1 – 03) going into the first water break.
Second quarter BME came out strong and put two over the bar before Cappagh retaliated with three points. The BME girls were to score another (1 – 01) to draw the teams’ level at half time.
Third quarter the two teams achieved one score each, BME a point and Cappagh a goal, giving Cappagh the edge going into the last water break.
However, BME were far from giving up. The last 15 saw the girls keep Cappagh off the scoreboard and put away a final (1 – 01) to win by 2 points at the final whistle. Great performance!
Girls are playing at home on Saturday 13th at 11.00 against Moorefield.
