FT: Ballymore-Eustace (2 – 03) Two Mile House (4 – 07)
The U15 girls’ league final was held on 25 October Bank Holiday Monday. Two Mile House started very strong and put a lot of pressure on Ballymore from the outset. First 15 The House had scored (2 – 01) before the first water break.
The second quarter TMH kept up this momentum by putting another three points over the bar and keeping BME off the score board.
After the half time talk the BME girls came out on the attack and scored (1 – 02) before TMH were back up the pitch scoring another (1 – 01). BME scored one more point before the final water break giving TMH an eight-point lead going into the last quarter.
BME came out fighting for the last 15 scoring their second goal. However, TMH were to score another (1- 02), bringing the final score TMH (4 – 07) to BME (2 – 03) and to win the final. Thanks to all for the great support on the day and throughout the year.
