Ballymore Eustace U7s travelled to Ballykelly on a very hot Saturday morning to play their third match of the year.

In their first game of the year Ballymore played Rathangan and a number of players were playing their first game. The team played very well against a good Rathangan team and their defence was well tested.

Their second game was home to Castledermot and the team improved in both defence and attack. Both teams were evenly matched and Ballymore were able to get a few additional score.

The team played very well against Ballykelly and held the advantage in all 4 quarters of the game. At times during the game the team scoring with each attack and their tackling was very good. They continued to improve game on game, with each game they are getting more and more scores while conceding less. Their passing and soloing is also getting better with each game.

Well done to all their players on their displays. Thanks to the parents for their support during the matches. The teams next game is on August 7th at home to Castlemitchell and this is followed by a home game against Moorefield on August 21st.

After these games are completed a new set of fixtures will be drawn up.
