Ballymore U8s team played a home game against Suncroft on Tuesday 13th of July. This was the teams best performance in their 3 games so far. It was a super match between 2 evenly matches teams. Ballymore’s defence was on op for the majority of the game and the Ballymore forwards were able to get some great scores.

In the teams opening game a number of players were playing their first game against a strong Athgarvan team. The team improved as the game progressed and they acquitted themselves well.

Ballymore’s second game was a home game to Rathangan. The team played very well and it was clear to see the big improvement from their first game. They had a great start to the game while Rathangan finished the game with more scores.

It is great to see the team grow in confidence with each game and they are playing better with each match. Their next game is at home to Kildangan on July 27th and this is followed by an away game to Robertstown on August 10th.

After these games are completed a new set of fixtures will be drawn up.
