Junior B Championship Ladies – Round 5

FT: Ballymore – Eustace (0 – 22)  Raheens (4 – 10)

Both teams settled into the match very quickly with a point apiece straight away.  Ballymore popped two more over the bar before Raheens came back with a goal.  Ballymore drew level with another point.  Raheens got another (1- 01) before Ballymore scored three points going into the first water break.

The second quarter seen Raheens double their score to (4 – 04) with Ballymore getting another six points.  Raheens headed into half time with a three-point lead.   

Ballymore came out strong in the second half scoring three points, bringing the two teams’ level, but Raheens pulled back and scored four consecutively.

The last quarter didn’t disappoint.  Ballymore rattled another 5 over the bar going ahead by one.  Last five minutes Raheens were to get two more before Ballymore got their final point to draw the two teams’ level at the final whistle.
