FT: Kilcock 2-20 Ballymore 1-05

Kilcock really dominated the match from the very first minute and ended up scoring 7 points in a row from Cormac Divilly, Shane O’Rourke (x2), Daragh McArdle (x3) and Darren Acton.

Ballymore’s first score of the match came just before the first water break when Tadhg Barrett scored a penalty.

The second quarter was much the same with Kilcock scoring 6 points in a row from David Duke, Daragh McArdle (x2), Daniel Courtney, Sean Maguire and Shane O’Rourke. Kilcock 0-13 Ballymore 1-00.

Ballymore scored two points from Niall Murphy and Patrick Murphy but Kilcock kicked on with two more before half time, from Daragh McArdle and David Duke.

Half time Kilcock 0-15 Ballymore 1-02.

Patrick Murphy got the first point of the second half for Ballymore but Kilcock continued to dominate the match scoring 1-01 in the next few minutes, the point from Daragh McArdle and the goal from Eoin McArdle. This made it Kilcock 1-16 Ballymore 1-03 at the second half water break.

Simon Murphy and Eoin McArdle traded points at either end and Caolan Halpin got another for Ballymore but it was all Kilcock for the last ten minutes. They scored another 1-03, the points from Daragh McArdle, Eoin Mulhall and Daniel Courtney, with the goal from Ciaran Murray.
