FT: Oliver Plunketts 3-12 Round Towers 2-11

Our Oliver Plunketts Minor team had another good win in the MFL tonight, this time over Round Towers. Round Towers got off to a good start scoring 1-01 in the opening minutes. Oliver Plunketts then scored three in a row before Towers got their next point. Oliver Plunketts and Round Towers scored one at either end then a great save from Colm Daly denied Towers their second goal. Round Towers got one more point before the first water break.

Round Towers 1-04 Oliver Plunketts 0-04. Oliver Plunketts got the next point then Round Towers scored another one. Two more points for Plunketts just before half time made it Round Towers 1-05 Oliver Plunketts 0-07 at the break.

Oliver Plunketts got the first point of the second half, followed by an Eoin Clarke goal to go 1-08 to 1-05 ahead. Round Towers got another point, followed by one for Oliver Plunketts and then a second goal for Towers to level the match, 2-06 to 1-09. Oliver Plunketts got the next two points and Round Towers responded with three in a row to go one ahead. Oliver Plunketts levelled the match again and then followed up with another goal to go 2-12 to 2-09 ahead. Round Towers got the next two points then Oliver Plunketts hit the back of the Towers net for the third time, which was the last score of the match. Full time Oliver Plunketts 3-12 Round Towers 2-11
