Final score: Kildangan 9.7 BME 3.2

Ballymore travelled to Kildangan on a wet Sunday morning for their fifth game in the U12 league. Kildangan had won all except one of their league games so far so Ballymore were in for a tough test and that is how the first half panned out with Ballymore trailing 3.5 to 1 point at half time. 

Things didn’t get much better for Ballymore at the beginning of the second half with Kildangan scoring two quick goals. However, Ballymore managed to gather themselves and started putting more pressure on Kildangan. This pressure led to a number of good opportunities for the visitors and the match became more end to end with the teams trading scores but, when the final whistle sounded, Kildangan were the ones who had managed to secure the points.
