Allenwood scored the first point of the match then Ballymore responded with two, one from Eoin Kavanagh and one from Jordan Deegan. Another point each from Eoin Kavanagh and Jordan Deegan, followed by one from Gerry Fennell gave Ballymore a 0-05 to 0-01 lead at the first water break. Jordan Deegan got the next point which was followed by one for Allenwood. Points from Gerry Fennell and Eoin Lyons put us six ahead but Allenwood got one more back before half time to make it Ballymore 0-08 Allenwood 0-03 at the break.

Gerry Fennell got the first two points of the second half then Allenwood scored one. Darragh Gilroy got the next point for Ballymore then Allenwood scored another. The next Ballymore point came from Keith Fennell which was followed by two for Allenwood. Gerry Fennell got another point which made it Ballymore 0-13 Allenwood 0-07 at the second half water break. Allenwood got the next two points to reduce the gap to four but Gerry Fennell hit the back of the net then to make it 1-13 to 0-09. Gerry followed with another point and a second goal then to put us 2-14 to 0-09 ahead with a few minutes left. Allenwood got the next two points but the final score of the match was a point for Ballymore from Daragh Gilroy. Full time Ballymore 2-15 Allenwood 0-11.
