The Ballymore U10’s travelled to Moorefield for their first game of the Southboard league. The visitors got off to a great start putting the hosts under pressure straight away. The defence from Moorefield was strong though and they were able to frustrate Ballymore on a number of occasions, however, the travelling team still managed to edge the first half.
The hosts came out for the second half with the bit between their teeth and were now putting Ballymore under pressure. The rest of the game saw both sides really putting it up to each other and using all their skills to try to make the breakthrough.
This was a very entertaining game with the players putting on a really good display. It was great to see the kids enjoying themselves so much during the match too.
