FT: Oliver Plunketts 3-10 Eadestown 2-12

Well done to our Minor team who had a good win over Eadestown tonight in the MFL. Oliver Plunketts got the first point of the match then Eadestown scored four in a row, before Plunketts got their second point to finish the quarter, 0-04 to 0-02 to the home team. Eadestown went three points ahead but then Oliver Plunketts fought back scoring 2-01 in the next few minutes. Eadestown scored a point then Plunkett’s got a third goal to go 3-04 to 0-05 ahead. Both sides got one more point before the break to make it 3-05 to 0-06 at half time.

Eadestown had a strong start to the second half scoring 2-02 in the first few minutes to level the match, 3-05 to 2-08. Oliver Plunketts went one ahead again then Eadestown got two and Plunketts got another one to make the sides level again. Oliver Plunketts scored a point then Eadestown were awarded a penalty which went wide. They responded with a quick point to make things level again. Oliver Plunketts 3-08 Eadestown 2-11. It was end to end stuff for the last few minutes of this exciting match with Oliver Plunketts going a point ahead, Eadestown equalising and then Oliver Plunketts getting the winning point before the full time whistle was blown.
