Ballymore Eustace v Kenagh GAA. Saturday 9th November 2019
All roads lead to Newtowncashel Co. Longford on Saturday 9th November. A bitterly cold day with a strong wind. Kenagh’s pitch was in perfect condition despite the weeks weather. BME took advantage of the strong wind in the first half scoring four points in a row from Niall Murphy, Tadhg Grace, Shane Barrett and Simon Murphy. Kenagh soon added to the scoreboard. At half time BME had a good cushion of a 12 point lead. BME 0-14; Kenagh 0-02.
The Second half BME ploughed through with more scoring from Tadhg Grace, Brian Crowe and Tadhg Barrett. Kenagh got their fourth point. The two goals came from Niall O’Neill and Stephen Dwyer. Two more scores before the final whistle came from Aaron Deegan and Patrick Murphy. Final score BME 2-20 Kenagh 0-05.
