While the Ballymore and Robertstown mens’ teams took a well earned half time break during the Junior A final the U10’s players from both clubs took to the field in two separate games. The players only had a few minutes to entertain the crowd but they took advantage of their opportunity and showed off a range of their skills. The defences on both sides were very brave, putting in score saving tackles while the midfield players were working their socks off running from defence to attack. When the forwards were able to breach the defence they coolly took their scores. We can be sure that this won’t be the last time we see these players in St. Conleth’s!
Ballymore would like to thank David Murphy and his colleagues for arranging the games and for giving the kids the opportunity to play in St. Conleths.
