Second outing for the Minor girls was away in Athy on September 25th. There was great scoring in the first half with a half time score of Athy (4 – 05) to Ballymore (3 – 03).
Second half the girls came out strong bringing Ballymore back in the game. With about ten minutes to full time the teams were level , 4 – 10 apiece. Ballymore started to pull away and put another (1 – 04) away before the final whistle. Great ball work girls! Final score Athy (4 – 10) Ballymore- Eustace (5 – 14)
