Ballymore-Eustace v Athy – U17 girls Division 5

FT: BME (5 – 07) Athy (2 – 04)

U17 girls played against Athy in the second round of the league on 22^nd April. Athy were first to put the ball over the bar before BME retaliated with a point and a goal.  Athy then brought it level.  Some great play by BME earned them a further two goals and two points before Athy pulled it back by two scores, leaving two goals in it at half time: BME (3 – 03), BME (1 – 03).

BME came out in the second half and repeated the score board by adding another two goals and two points before Athy popped one over the bar. BME scored another point before they dropped to 14 through injury. Athy got their final score of the night, a goal, before BME wrapped up the match with a point.  Another great performance from the girls giving a final score BME (5 – 07) Athy (2 – 04).
