Ballymore U11’s travelled to Moorefield for the restart of the Southboard league. The game burst into life from the off with the visitors grabbing an early score. However, the hosts replied with a score of their own soon afterwards. The game was played at a high tempo in the first half with no let up in the pace.
The teams came out for the second half all square but Ballymore started the quicker and put over some great early scores. The home team weren’t ready to give up though and they finished stronger in the last quarter.
This was a genuinely exciting game to the last and it was great to see the children giving it everything until the very end.
