Result: BME (2 – 10) Celbridge (3 – 12)
Ballymore Eustace senior ladies met Celbridge on September 17th in the league semi-final. Celbridge scored a goal shortly after throw in but Ballymore responded with a great goal. The girls were to score another (1 – 07) to give them a one point lead at half time.
Second half Celbridge came out strong scoring four points before Ballymore responded with a point, giving Celbridge a two point lead. With less than ten minutes to go Celbridge started to pull away and put another three over the bar before the final whistle. A great performance from our girls but it just wasn’t to be their night. Thanks to all who supported tonight and during the year.
A big thank you also to Christy, Pat, John and Emer and all the girls for their huge effort and achievements this season.
