Ballymore travelled to Ballyteague on Thursday evening for the opening game of the Southboard U7’s league. The game got off to a frantic start with Ballyteague going on the attack first. The Ballyteague shots were raining in but the Ballymore goalkeeper was holding firm. Ballymore managed to break the siege and started to turn the screw up the other end.
The second half saw Ballyteague take control of much of the game but the Ballymore players were resilient and chased down every ball. This was a very entertaining game with every player on the pitch giving it their all.
